The Surfside Beach Pier - stretches 814 feet into the Atlantic and stands 25 feet tall, making it a one-of-a-kind concrete pier and a centerpiece of the town known as “The Family Pier.” Located in the heart of Surfside Beach, it offers great fishing, family-friendly activities, and a scenic oceanfront setting surrounded by places to eat, making it perfect for strolling, relaxing, or taking in the coastal views.
Open daily (April 1–October 31: 6 AM–1 AM; November 1–March 31: 7 AM–11 PM) with parking available at $4/hour from 8 AM–6 PM (March 1 - October 31), it’s a must-visit during your stay.

Farmer's Market- is a great place to discover fresh produce, handmade crafts, and local treats, making it a fun stop during your stay. Held at Memorial Park (next to the Surfside Beach Library) every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, March 31 through December 14, it’s the perfect way to experience the local flavor of Surfside Beach.
Arts & Crafts Market - is a seasonal open-air market at Memorial Park (next to the Surfside Beach Library) featuring local artists, crafters, bakers, and more. Open every Thursday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, March 19 through November 12, it’s a great spot to browse and pick up unique, locally made finds during your stay.
Music in Memorial Park - is a free live music concert series held at Memorial Park (next to the Surfside Beach Library), where a different band performs each Sunday afternoon in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Every Sunday from May 25 through August 24 from 4:00–7:00 PM, it’s a great way to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy live music near the beach.
Crafter's Cove - Free educational classes for children 10 years old and under. Every Thursday, June 12th, through August 14th, 2025

Hula & Fire Show - is a lively, family-friendly performance featuring traditional Polynesian dance, music, and thrilling fire acts for a fun and memorable evening by the ocean. Held every Monday from 7:00–8:00 PM, June 8 through August 10, on the beach next to the Surfside Beach Fishing Pier, it’s a must-see during your stay.

Keep Surfside Beach Beautiful Beach Sweeps -is a fun, family-friendly beach cleanup held in partnership with the SC Sea Grant Consortium, where participants can enjoy music, giveaways, and complimentary snacks while helping keep the shoreline beautiful. Taking place at the 3rd Ave North Beach Access on select Saturdays from 9:00–10:00 AM (April through August, plus monthly dates May–October), with a special event on September 20 at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront Resort, it’s a rewarding way to give back during your stay.
